Harry Thaler is part of a daring community of designers whose works explore the world through reinvented objects and juxtaposition with a surprising and charming elegance. His adventurous designs are built on a foundation of traditional techniques and high quality craftsmanship creating a sensation of timelessness in his work. He is an educated goldsmith, with a background that covers everything from jewellery design to carpentry. Harry graduated at the Royal College of Art, Design Product in June 2010 and he was decorated with The Conran Award 2010, for his pressed aluminium chair, which is bent into shape to form a super-light, stackable object. He was commissioned to design a series of public benches, has built a bike powered by compressed air, and has designed interiors, furniture and products for private requirements. Since 2008 he is based in London and opened his own studio.
